Season 1 — Episode 7

Mount Kilauea

Adventurer Bear Grylls shows us how to survive on the big island of Hawaii, home to Kilauea — the world's most active volcano. Made up of a bleak expanse of solidified lava which stretches for 33,000 acres, the island is one of the toughest places on earth. Over 2 million people visit every year and one tourist a week is rescued from its lava fields. Bear Grylls deliberately puts himself in the position of one of those lost tourists testing his survival skills to the limit.
