Couples can often make beautiful music together. Examples include, we have the various pairings within Fleetwood Mac, Ashford & Simpson, Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz of the Tom Tom Club and Talking Heads, Win Butler and Régine Chassagne of Arcade Fire.

Richard was a guitar virtuoso and member of the folk band Fairport Convention; Linda was known for performing commercial jingles. Thompson left FC in 1970 and recorded I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight with wife Linda in 1973. This live 1975 version of “A Heart Needs a Home” is a great showcase for Ms. Thompson.

Richard and Linda split in 1982.
