In February, it was announced that Killing Eve's Phoebe Waller-Bridge would be starring in the Mr. and Mrs. Smith TV series, based on the 2005 movie. Since then, there's been a turn of events...

Waller-Bridge has stepped away from the project, reports The Hollywood Reporter, citing a difference of "creative vision"  between PWB and co-creator Donald Glover.

If you're not familiar with the storyline, it revolves around a happily married couple living in the suburbs. But, both husband and wife are secret spies, unbeknownst to each other, and being happily married is really just part of their cover.

When the two realize what the other's "job" is, things get dicey. It becomes survival of the fittest.

Glover is still set to act as co-creator and star. And according to reports, the Star Wars co-stars are still friendly, i.e. no hard feelings.

If you need more proof of their camaraderie, here's a clip of them noshing on unfamiliar snacks and providing feedback (in between giggles):

While this might be slightly disappointing, on a more positive note, it frees up time for Waller-Bridge to take on other projects. Like starring in Indiana Jones 5, which she is currently filming. And, of course, there's season five of Killing Eve, of which she is an executive-producer.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has done so much, it makes us think, what other genres would you like to see her in!?
