Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) wrote and acted as showrunner for the first season of Killing Eve, kicking off a TV phenomenon. The past few years, she's been working behind-the scenes, like helping re-write Bond film No Time To Die. But, that is ALL about to change...

It's recently been announced that Waller-Bridge is set to star in the espionage series Mr. and Mrs. Smith, based on the 2005 movie with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

If the plot is new to you, it revolves around a happily married couple living in the suburbs. But, both husband and wife are secret spies, unbeknownst to each other, and being happily married is really just part of their cover.

When the two realize what the other's "job" is, things get dicey. It becomes survival of the fittest.

Speeding up to now, Waller-Bridge is just one half of the married couple, with Donald Glover (Community) set to play Mr. Smith.

Phoebe-Waller Bridge and Glover worked together on 2018's Solo: A Star Wars Story.

It appears they liked each other enough to get married... well, on-screen that is.

Here's a clip of the two sitting down to share British and American snacks and give their feedback (why? why not!?):

While this is all very exciting, it's still pretty new with a start date yet to be announced. But, once everything is done and dusted, you can look for the series over at Amazon.

Are you excited to see PWB back up on the screen!?
