Because of quarantine there’s been some reshuffling on the upcoming true crime series Dr. Death, reports Yahoo! news.

The Fall actor Jamie Dornan was originally scheduled to take on the role of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a Dallas-based neurosurgeon. But now we can look for Joshua Jackson, who you may know from his Dawson’s Creek (1998-2003) days and more recently from The Affair (2014-2019), opposite Anglo favorite Ruth Wilson.

Dr. Duntsch joined the Dallas medical community in 2010, practicing at multiple medical centers.

His patients were coming in for spinal cord injuries but leaving maimed or dying on the operating table. What’s most disturbing is that even though Duntsch would be dismissed following the horrifying results, he would then find another job as a surgeon. And then again, after a fatality, he’d be dismissed, and  move onto yet another.

Finally, he was reported and his misdoings caught up with him.

We can look for Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) and Christian Slater (Dirty John) as his concerned colleagues, neurosurgeon Robert Henderson and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby, who had had enough and took it upon themselves to stop him.

Filming has yet to begin, but you can look for the series over at Peacock once completed.

In the meantime, you can backtrack and listen to the podcast it’s based off of.
