Go-to action star Jason Statham and go-to action director Guy Ritchie have teamed up on a number of projects, like 1998’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, 2000’s Snatch and more recently, this year’s The Gentleman.

As well, they’ve completed filming on Wrath of Man, which is set to release in 2021.

These two seem to really like working together and are collaborating AGAIN for the forthcoming espionage flick, called Five Eyes, reports ComingSoon.net.

Ritchie will direct, with the screenplay coming from Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, who also handled writing duties for The Gentleman and Wrath of Man (this guy is loyal).

The title leaves a lot to the imagination, like two people standing back-to-back (four eyes) and maybe a villain having one eye on them (five eyes total). But, that’s just us pondering…

Five Eyes actually refers to a global intelligence agency, who recruits a MI6 agent, named Orson Fortune (Statham), to help in preventing the sale of a deadly weapons technology that can throw off the world as we know it.

Fortune is assigned to a CIA high-tech expert, named Sarah Field. With it being the CIA, she’s most likely American. The description says he’s reluctant to work with the CIA.

Even so, the team go on a “globe-trotting” seek and stop mission, with billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds as their target.

We love that the characters are included in the initial announcement. Now, who shall play the latter two characters?

Do you have any suggestions for further casting?
