Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany has landed the title role in Disney+’s much anticipated She-Hulk TV series.

She’ll play Jennifer Walters, an attorney who’s the cousin of Bruce Banner a.k.a. The Hulk. When she receives some of her cousin’s blood in an emergency transfusion, she gains his superpowers too, enabling her to become She-Hulk. But unlike her male counterpart, she’s able to retain her intelligence and personality traits when she morphs into Hulk form.

Deadline first reported that Maslany has been cast in the coveted role, and though Marvel has yet to confirm this, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo seems to have given it the rubber-stamp by tweeting: “Welcome to the family, cuz!”

The upcoming She-Hulk series is very much a female-led affair with Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) leading the writers’ room and Kat Coiro (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dead to Me) set to direct several episodes.

Maslany, who won a Primetime Emmy award in 2016 for her performance as multiple characters in BBC America’s Orphan Black, was recently seen in HBO’s acclaimed Perry Mason revival series starring Matthew Rhys.

In May she and her Orphan Black co-stars reunited for a virtual table read in aid of CenterLink: The Community of LGBT Centers and Sistering 24 Hour Drop In. You can watch it in full below.
