Emily Blunt (Mary Poppins) and Dwayne Johnson (Jumanji) team up for the Disney movie Jungle Cruise, inspired by the theme park ride.
Both actors are Disney alums, with Blunt starring in 2018’s Mary Poppins Returns and Johnson taking the lead in 2007’s The Game Plan. This is the first time these two will be on-screen together.
Johnson plays riverboat captain Frank Wolff. And Blunt stars as explorer Dr. Lily Houghton. Wolff and Houghton could not be any more different, but they do have one thing in common: they’re both in search of a tree that can heal all.
Wolff has been searching for the tree for ages. But it turns out, Houghton has the key.

If the actors alone don’t draw you in, the animals might be the clincher. Like at 1:10 in the above clip, when a regal leopard lunges at Blunt’s character. How’d they train that leopard to leap on cue!? Oh, it may be CGId, but it’s very real to us as viewers.
We can’t help but think of the Jungle Cruise that sunk a couple of weeks ago (everyone was okay!!):
