With social distancing becoming the new norm (at least for now), everyone is doing what they can to keep spirits up.
Cold Play frontman Chris Martin has taken to Instagram to keep busy and keep in touch. He’s been separated from his bandmates and before starting his at-home session, he says in the below clip, “We’re stuck in different countries, so we can’t play together. So I thought, what would be nice, would be to check in with some of you out there and see how you’re doing and where you are and what I can do for you.”
He calls his mini-gig “Together at Home.” He offered himself up as “at your service for the next 20 minutes.” He didn’t just sing, but invited people to send in requests:
While this Insta concert happened yesterday, he suggests maybe other performers will follow suit. Martin included the hashtag #TogetheratHome, which singer John Legend also used in his “pants-less” performance:
