Welcome to this week’s Doctor Who’s Day roundup, a fistful of glorious Gallifreyan stuff and nonsense from the past seven days on the internet and social media.

And of course, this week, fans are aglow with the new teaser that shows Jodie Whittaker‘s Doctor and her new friends. But before we get to that, something astonishing happened in London involving the Doctor and the alien race known as the Muppets.

During their concerts at London’s O2 Arena last week — billed as The Muppets Take The O2 — Peter Davison turned up, in full Fifth Doctor costume, for a skit that ends with a hugely affectionate regeneration joke. Here’s a fan’s-eye view:

But that’s not all. The night before, David Tennant performed the same sketch. Look, he’s doing the Doctor’s voice and everything:
