The folks over at Dread Central have a first look of David Tennant (Doctor Who) in the film Bad Samaritan. They said, “Put David Tennant in anything, and you’ve got our attention,” and we agree with that sentiment.

We definitely enjoyed Tennant as a baddie Dr. Zebediah Killgrave (also known as Purple Man) in Marvel’s Jessica Jones. And now we’re getting a look at his bad side once again, in character as Cale Erendreich, via David Tennant News:

The description for the film is brief. The story revolves around two young car valets who use their insider knowledge to rob the homes of the people who entrust them with their cars and… keys. Apparently they hit up the wrong house.

It’s not 100 per cent confirmed what side Tennant is on, but going by the above picture, things get tense. We’re pretty sure he IS the bad Samaritan.

You can also look for Robert Sheehan, who you may recognize from Misfits, and Carlito Oliver (Making Moves), as the robbers.

And then there’s the poster, which also features Sheehan  — he’s in Tennant’s head, literally:

The film is currently being filmed in Portland, OR. It’s written by Brandon Boyce (Wicker Park), with Dean Devlin (The Librarians) in the director’s chair.

The film’s release is predicted for spring 2018.
