Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the creator and star of the no-holds-barred series Fleabag — also the name of the lead character. And, to put it lightly, Fleabag is no wallflower and tells it how it is. But, when you’re on the set of a Star Wars film, you gotta zip it.

Waller-Bridge is currently filming the Untitled Han Solo Star Wars Anthology Film (try saying that three times!). Alas, she can’t really talk about what her role is, or say anything that would give us spoiler clues about the movie. But, she really, really wants to. And, we don’t blame her. When you’re having so much fun doing something, don’t you just want to rattle off your adventures to anyone who will listen?

Now that it’s been announced Waller-Bridge is a part of the film, she has some freedom to gush a bit. RadioTimes caught up with Waller-Bridge, asking her how it’s been going so far, and she let it all out, saying, “Really fun. The most fun thing ever in the world!”

Woah, you can’t really top that.

But, she kind of did, adding on, “It’s so fun I can’t even bear it.”

Her excitement is infectious. We’re not even getting any specifics, but we can feel the energy through her words. It does give us a giggle. We have a mental picture of her zip zapping all over the set, desperately trying to contain her excitement when not filming, with a cartoon bubble over her head, writing out her thoughts, like: “Am I really here?”

But, she is a professional, and while she does feel like starring in such a huge franchise is “fun pressure”… she’s got this.

It sounds like she avoids spilling any beans about the film by getting home as fast as possible, saying, “Yeah, it’s really hard [not to talk about the film]. Especially after a day of it and I just come home and go ‘argh!’. I can’t even do anything!”

We are so looking forward to hearing more from her on her involvement, but we’re equally excited for her BBC America series to hit our screens. Waller-Bridge is running the show for the BBCA original Killing Eve, premiering in 2018.

What Star Wars role can you picture her in?
