Welcome to this week’s Doctor Who’s Day roundup, a deep dive into the outer reaches of Whovian fandom for treats and thrills over the past seven days in social media.
And we begin this week with a song. A parody song based on Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s “Alexander Hamilton,” from the musical Hamilton, but one which, in re-recorded form, tells the story of the Doctor.
It’s the brainchild of Alexander Daniels, who wanted to know what would happen if Hamilton were about Doctor Who. The song was recorded (and premiered) at the Idiot’s Lantern show of Whovian skits at Gallifrey One, the Los Angeles Doctor Who convention, but adding to the relevant clips from the last 50-odd years is a stroke of genius.
Here’s what else has been going on in space and time this week:

• Let’s end this week with an exceptional exploration of a parallel universe. BabelColour has put together this clip, suggesting what would have happened if any of the actors that had been under consideration to play the Third, Fourth and Fifth Doctors had got the part.
Extra points are awarded for Jonathon Carley‘s Tenth Doctor (and K-9) impressions:
