Episode two of the third season of The Flash aired last night (October 11), and with it the debut of Harry Potter star Tom Felton. As we reported earlier this year, Tom is a new series regular on the show, playing CSI tech Julian Dorn.

Julian belongs to the new timeline brought about by Barry—a.k.a. The Flash (Grant Gustin)—and his meddling in the past. In last week’s season opener we saw Barry awake to a new reality where his parents are still alive, but other people he cares about are radically altered.

Last night’s episode saw Barry and Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) investigate some strange goings-on by the river, and encounter Julian for the first time. In a stand-off worthy of Hogwarts bully Draco Malfoy, he quickly makes it clear he’s above working with a fellow forensics expert.

Just us, or does Julian reeeeaaaally not like Barry?

We get to find out why over the course of season three.

What did you think of Tom Felton’s Flash debut?
