Christopher Nolan‘s next movie may take place in the past (summer 1940, to be exact) and on planet Earth (during the evacuation of Allied armed forces from France), but that doesn’t mean it’s any less epic than his previous efforts Inception or Interstellar.

We got our first look at it yesterday (August 4) in a teaser released to coincide with the announcement it will open in 70mm, 35mm and IMAX formats on July 21, 2017.

There’s no dialogue, no clue about its storyline, and no sign of its stars (oh, y’know, just Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, and Mark Rylance), but by golly, it’s tense:

Fans of a certain other star in the film were a little disappointed, however. Harry Styles, the erstwhile member of boyband One Direction, will also make his acting debut in the movie, and was nowhere to be seen in the teaser.
