Jason Momoa has lined up a number of roles since leaving Game of Thrones, including DC Comics superhero Aquaman, and it looks like he’s about to add another one.

And not just any one, either. It’s his “dream job”, in fact, as this photo with director Corin Hardy he posted to his Instagram account last week attests.

What does this photo tell us (apart from Jason’s fondness for Guinness)? Well, it just so happens that Hardy’s next project is a remake of 1994 cult classic The Crow. And it just so happens that that film’s lead character bears the initials “E.D.”.

According to Mashable, multiple sources close to the project have confirmed that Mr. Lisa Bonet is in talks to star as Eric Draven, a rock musician murdered along with his fiancée, who is resurrected a year after his death by a crow so he can take his revenge.

The remake has seemed at times to be almost as cursed as the original movie, during the making of which lead actor Brandon Lee was killed by a faulty prop gun. In the works since 2008, it’s had various stars attached including Luke Evans and Jack Huston, though so far none have made it beyond the development stage. First linked to Blade director Stephen Norrington, it subsequently crossed the desks of Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) and F. Javier Guitierrez (Rings), until dragging timelines, rights issues, and even bankruptcy put the plans on hold.

Now though it seems an announcement might finally be forthcoming: And from that smile Jason’s got something to be very happy about indeed.

Do you think he’ll make a good Eric Draven?
