Michael Fassbender is currently filming 2017’s Alien: Covenant and is set to star in the crime drama The Snowman, also releasing in 2017.
He’s pretty booked up, but that doesn’t mean he can’t plan ahead.
There’s talk of Fassbender starring in the true crime story Entering Hades, reports Variety.
The film is based on John Leake‘s nonfiction crime novel Entering Hades: The Double Life of a Serial Killer, published in 2007. The story follows celebrated journalist Jack Unterweger. He was a best-selling Austrian author who investigated murders, with his interest taking an extreme turn, becoming a killer himself.
While it’s not 100 percent confirmed Fassbender is on board to star, his company DMC Film is producing the movie.
We can look for Fassbender in a number of films releasing in 2016, including X-Men: Apocalypse (May 27), The Light Between Oceans (September 2), and Assassin’s Creed (December 21).
