Adele kicked off her world tour in Belfast last night and, judging from the tweets and updates being shared with #AdeleLive2016, fans were not disappointed.

The show opened with her latest massive hit “Hello,” sung as she made her way to the stage through the crowd. Feel the chills go up your back as you watch this clip, posted by a member of the audience on Twitter:

In a two-hour set Adele showcased every hit of her extraordinary career so far, starting with 2007’s “Hometown Glory,” and including “Rumour Has It,” “Chasing Pavements,” a particularly commanding performance of Bond theme “Skyfall,” “When We Were Young” (featuring a slideshow of the star as a child), and, in one of the night’s most startling moments, “Set Fire to the Rain,” sung in the middle of a torrential indoor downpour. (Scroll down for a full setlist.)

And eagle-eyed fans spotted she brought a cup of tea to the stage, just as she did when riding alongside James Corden in Carpool Karaoke in January.

Finally, after an encore of “Rolling in the Deep,” the whole thing came to an end with confetti falling on the crowd with messages like “Thanks for coming!” and “Hello.”

Her performance impressed the critics too, with the BBC calling it a “simple, stripped back show,” The Guardian saying she “sounds fantastic,” and even the NME conceding “she wowed the sold-out audience.

The tour is due to arrive in the U.S. in July, and last night’s show brought good news for anyone who failed to get tickets: Adele announced a tour DVD will be released.
