The first teaser trailer has arrived for the Amy Winehouse documentary Amy, and as you may expect, it’s a combination of unseen footage, youthful naivety and then the after effects of a steamrolling fame juggernaut.
The movie is released in the U.K. on July 3, and has been made by the same team who created the BAFTA-winning Senna, the 2010 documentary about the Formula 1 racing driver Ayrton Senna.
But we’re not just telling you this as a cruel flaunting of British cinematic delughts No, according the The Hollywood Reporter, the distribution company A24 is close to securing the rights for a U.S. release at some point this summer.
