Queen’s Counsel Barrister Jocelyn Knight hasn’t tried a trial case in three years, but has been pulled out of semi-retirement to represent the parents of the slain child in the trial. She originally declined the request, but for some reason changed her mind.
Charlotte Rampling has been a working actress since 1965, with starring roles in Georgy Girl (1966), The Night Porter (1974), Stardust Memories (1980) and The Verdict (1982), co-starring Paul Newman. Here’s a clip of Rampling in Stardust Memories, directed by Woody Allen:
Fast-forwarding a bit, Rampling received an Emmy Award nomination for her performance in the 2012 TV movie Restless. In 2013 she joined the cast of Dexter as Dr. Evelyn Vogel. She has two films coming out in 2015, including The Forbidden Room and 45 Years.
