British history books are well served with fierce warrior heroines who would think nothing of ripping your face off if you got in their way. And why not? You’re in their way! Get, like, OUT of their way!

Are you a Boudicca, warrior queen who lead an army against the Romans? An Emmeline Pankhurst, whose militant tactics helped the suffragettes to secure votes for women? Are you a strong woman leading a man’s world, like Queen Elizabeth I, or Margaret Thatcher, or an inspired thinker and campaigner, like Mary Wollstonecraft, author of A Vindication of the Rights of Women (and, by the by, mother of Mary Shelley, who wrote Frankenstein)?
