“Don’t fill up before dinner on … dinner?” (CB)

We recently talked about a traditional Christmas English dinner found in a tin can and now it seems there’s a seasonal Welsh beer that is expected to smell and taste like a Roast dinner, reports the U.K. Express.

Conwy Brewery, located in Llysfaen, Conwy, North Wales, brings us the Victorian style porter, aptly named the Sunday Toast, which is infused with juices from Welsh lamb.

While the Christmas tinner advert was a playful joke, these guys are not messin’ about.

Brewer Gwynne Thomas believes the Welsh lamb to be one of Wales’ biggest exports and is proud to embrace that success saying, “As a brewer, it’s great to be able to celebrate this by bottling the essence of Welsh Lamb in a beer and we’re truly delighted with the end result.”

We don’t mean to be picky but it’s just not a Sunday Roast without the Yorkshire pudding! Maybe that could come in the form of an after dinner liqueur?

Would you drink this Welsh ale?
