Are you looking forward to the 2013 Doctor Who Christmas special, “The Time of the Doctor”, premiering on December 25, 2013 at 9/8c on BBC AMERICA? It’s just around the corner but it may seem very, very far away to some. If that’s the case, let’s binge on the previous Doctor Who specials, all tidied up below for you. The Christmas specials are in order of broadcast, beginning in 2005 through 2012:

This marks the first ever Doctor Who Christmas special, introducing us to the Tenth Doctor in the form of David Tennant.

3. “The Voyage of the Damned”
The Doctor (Tennant) and his TARDIS have just crashed into a starliner that resembles the infamous Titanic ocean liner. Once on board the Doctor meets an exceptional waitress by the name of Astrid Peth (Kylie Minogue).

4. “The Next Doctor”
The Doctor (Tennant) finds himself in 1850s London on Christmas Eve where he runs into a gentleman who is also known as “The Doctor” (David Morrisey). The “Next Doctor” isn’t the only surprise; the two Doctors are unexpectedly attacked by Cybermen.

5. “The End of Time”
It’s time for the Doctor to regenerate and we’ll have to say goodbye to the Tenth Doctor (Tennant). A lot of the Doctor’s friends come out including but not limited to Donna Noble (Catherine Tate), Captain Jack Harness (John Barrowman) and former companion Rose Tyler (Billie Piper)

6. “A Christmas Carol”
The Doctor’s (Smith) companions, newlyweds Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) and Amy Pond (Karen Gillan), send out an S.O.S call to the Doctor when they find themselves on a space liner going down. The Doctor has to convince the Scrooge-like Kazran Sardick (Michael Gambon), who controls the skies, to help out.

7. “The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe”
In an attempt to surprise the Arwell family, the Doctor (Smith) places a portal under the Christmas tree, disguised as a gift, which will lead them to a snowy planet for holiday. Sneaky Cyril Arwell (Maurice Cole) opens the gift early and finds himself on the planet alone.

8. “The Snowmen”The Doctor is in mourning after losing two close friends and takes off to Victorian England in search of relief where he meets Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) and some not-so-nice Snowmen.
