Jamie Bamber and Edward James Olmos from 'Battlestar Galactica'

Today (April 21), Anglophenia posted an exclusive interview with Jamie Bamber about his new NBC pilot 17th Precinct and the British Invasion currently hitting American TV. Well, Bamber fans, here’s some major news. The show that made him famous, Battlestar Galactica, will be airing on BBC America starting Saturday, June 18. The channel announced, via press release, that it has signed a deal with NBC Universal to acquire the two-part miniseries and Seasons One through Four.

The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series follows the deep space-bound survivors of the human race as they flee a nuclear apocalypse and battle their insidious enemies, the Cylons. Brits Jamie Bamber and James Callis starred alongside a tremendously talented ensemble that included Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Grace Park, Katee Sackhoff, and the bodacious Tricia Helfer.
