Florence and the Machine

When thousands upon thousands of music fans come together on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee for the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival this summer, a host of UK acts will be on hand to quelch the southern sun.

Florence and the Machine, who just announced a new run of U.S. dates in addition to her opening gigs with U2, will bring her English charm to the 2011 installment set for June 9-12.

Robert Plant & The Band of Joy will also be there, as will the Grammy-nominated Mumford & Sons. Karen Elson, Clare Maguire, Band of Skulls, and 22-20s will also look to rule the sweat-drenched masses.

Other big names on the Bonnaroo bill include Eminem, Arcade Fire, Lil Wayne, The Black Keys, and The Strokes. Additional acts are expected to be announced shortly.

Bonnaroo tickets go on sale on this Saturday (February 19) at 12 pm EST.
