Ricky Gervais' animated series, The Ricky Gervais Show, which culls from his widely popular podcasts of the same name, debuted earlier this year on HBO in the U.S. and on Channel 4 in the UK. It's done so well that a second series is the works for next year, woo hoo!

Well it seems that Gervais might feeling right at home at HBO these days. According to the British comedy site Chortle, the English funnyman is set to join American comedy heavyweights Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Louis CK in a forthcoming one-off special for the network called Talking Funny.

In the show, Gervais & Co. will discuss the ins and outs of the comedy business and how each of them have gone on to achieve worldwide success. Filming is slated to get underway in New York this fall.
