The Sundays were a late ’80s-early ’90s band whose members wore their Smiths love on their sleeves. Their second single, 1990’s “Here’s Where the Story Ends,” draws liberally from the Moz/Marr oeuvre, sounding a bit like both “Cemetry Gates” and “The Boy With the Thorn in His Side.” And lead singer Harriet Wheeler‘s voice suggests Liz Fraser with better enunciation.
