Most people can afford a car in the $10,000-$30,000. Some can buy one for $40,000-$99,000. Afew can afford a car in the $100,000 to $500,000. And theen there those lucky ones who can afford cars in the 1 million + range.
Now, million dollar cars are always shockers, but are they worth the price??? You decide. You can also add other million dollar cars. The one car that does count is the Maybach Excelero. It’s a one-off.
The info includes a picture, price tag, and site for info.

I believe the Veyron is the only one because it can become the dream car for a 80 year old with its wonderful interior, while a ten year old can be delighted with its drawdropping performance and exterior.

These $1MM cars serve a couple of purposes:
- In the case of the Veyron, they are a show case for VW Engineering, and a development platform for lower models where the technology can filter down
- They are toys… Just as I could afford a $2k car when i was a student, and something a bit nicer now, many people would not notice $1MM. and the more exclusive the better (the Veyron is “common” to some)
- A lot of these smaller manufacturers are owned by millionaires, and car freaks who just want to build their dreams ( look at Aston’s history, Koiningsegg (sp.), etc)

Are they worth it? to me no! I’d rather get 15 AM Vantage V8 than a Veyron, but then i can aford neither so irrelevant wink

I think the best thing they do is make for great episodes of Top Gear. There would be no point trying to race any car but the Veyron against a Eurofighter Typhoon… hehehe

if you want something with a warranty or some kind of dealer maintenance i’d say buy the million dollar car. but for that amount of money i’d rather design and build something myself with the help of others, something you could be ecstatic to own and drive and have bragging rights for miles. It’s hard to believe that with one million dollars you couldn’t create something desperately beautiful.

None of these cars are worth a million.
-The Bugatti 1500 lbs too heavy, needs another pedal, and is ugly.
-The Dauer and Schuppan are both hack jobs.  They took a Porche race car and made it barely road legal.  They barely made any at all (6 Schuppans and 12 Dauers).  If you bought one of these things it will start falling apart after 5 miles and there is nobody in the world who will know how to fix the thing.
-The Maybach is completly pointless and looks like a hyundai.  If this car was only 1/10 of the price and you were cosidering it, I would tell you to buy the BWM 760 instead.
-The Lambo is the only car I would even want in my garage, but not at that price.  I like the LP 670-4 SV better.  And that car is 1/3 the price.

The only new car ever to be worth a million dollars was the McLaren F1.  The greatest car ever built.  And nothing will ever beat it with emissions and safety regulations in place now.
