About Peter Capaldi
Peter Capaldi earned a BAFTA Television Award for best Male Performance in a Comedy Role in 2010 for his portrayal of Malcolm. He, along with his co-stars, appeared in "In the Loop" (2009). The Scottish-born actor has also won an Academy Award in 1995 for best live action short film for Frank Kafka's "It's a Wonderful Life." He can also be seen on BBC America as the difficult head of news in the Golden-Globe nominated series "The Hour." Capaldi has appeared in many films, including "Dangerous Liaisons," "Bean" and "Shooting Fish" with Kate Beckinsale. BBC Americans will recognize him from "Peep Show," "Skins" and "Torchwood."
