Glenn is a senior special advisor to the minister of Social Affairs and Citizenship. He and Hugh are old friends from their campaign days. Glenn tends to act as the calming voice of reason throughout the series, though even he occasionally looses his finesse due to the utter ineptitude of those around him, and the viciousness of the press and at times, the public. He is also the oldest member of the staff, which at times opens him up to ridicule.
