Bel Rowley

Bel has been a “good girl” throughout her life, unless, of course, you count endless affairs with married men—quiet acts of rebellion. She has come to the realization that she’s simply mirroring her mother, a former showgirl who married well and divorced not-so-well in a scandalous affair.

Bel takes on a new position as a producer for “The Hour.” Work and “play” get complicated, as her new job brings her closer to best friend Freddie but also has her forming a bond with newsman Hector. Bel has grown accustomed to having Freddie around but she can’t dismiss Hector’s charm and demeanor, which attracts and frustrates her. Bel’s new-found closeness to Hector does not sit easy alongside her deeply rooted friendship with Freddie and she may be forced to make some difficult choices.
