Paul‘s choice to balance his human life and Angelic life is put to the test as his powers develop and a new host of Angelics arrive to put him through a trial by fire.

Neil, who is still badly injured from the fight with the Fades, calls upon more Angelics to help him while Mark continues to look into Sarah‘s past. Anna has something to say about Paul and Jay‘s budding romance, leaving Paul to accidentally demonstrate his powers and ultimately terrify everyone. Unbeknownst to him, Natalie, a Fade, is watching it all.

Meanwhile, the Angelics think Paul may be the Chosen One to save the world. Paul’s mind, however, is on Mac’s birthday, which he has forgotten.
