Neil disposes Sarah and Helen‘s bodies and tries to convince Sarah’s Fade to help him catch the vengeful Polus, but her mind is on Mark, who is unable to see her, hear her or touch her.

Paul continues to have horrifying visions and this time they features some of his loved ones. When Neil learns of this, he brings Paul to meet Eric, an ancient Fade and ex-Angelic who foresees Paul’s importance in the fight against Polus. Paul is then encouraged to leave his family behind, as he can’t be an Angelic and enjoy life’s usual creature comforts.

Meanwhile, Mac suggests that he and Paul join his sister Anna‘s school ball committee as a way of meeting girls. Soon, he discovers another supernatural power… and something happens between him and Jay.
