Happy New Year! Here are 10 ways to console yourself if you happen to break those pesky resolutions this week.

1. WHAT TO WATCH IF YOU’RE CRAVING AN OLD-SCHOOL SITCOM

One Day at a Time
One Day at a Time

Fuller House has been a big hit for Netflix since it launched last year, so this reboot of a classic ’70s sitcom could be another shrewd move from the streaming giant. One Day at a Time is still a traditional multi-camera comedy featuring an unfashionable laugh track, but this time it boasts a mainly Latino cast. Six Feet Under‘s Justina Machado stars as a divorced single mom raising teenage daughters with help from her meddling mother, played by legendary EGOT-winning actress Rita Moreno. The full season launches Friday and looks like an easy binge-watch.

2. WHO TO ADD TO YOUR PLAYLIST BEFORE ALL YOUR FRIENDS DISCOVER HER

Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa: “Be the One”

This 21-year-old Londoner recently made her U.S. chart debut with “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” a sassy slab of pop-R&B with a super-cute vocal hook. But the elegant electro of “Be the One” (which has already been a big hit in Europe and Australia) is even better because it really shows off her rich, smoky vocals. Expect to hear a lot more from this exciting new pop talent as she prepares to drop her debut album on February 10.

3. WHAT TO WATCH IF YOU FANCY A GLAMOROUS START TO 2017

74th Golden Globe Awards
74th Golden Globe Awards

Jimmy Fallon hosts Hollywood’s second biggest awards show, taking over from last year’s controversial compère Ricky Gervais. La La Land and Moonlight are frontrunners for the film prizes, while The Night Manager and The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story lead the TV categories. Look out too for veteran British actress Charlotte Rampling, who’s nominated for her memorable performance in BBC AMERICA’s London Spy. The whole glittering shebang airs Sunday (January 8) on NBC.

4. WHICH INSTAGRAM TO CHECK OUT IF YOU STILL ENJOY RE-RUNS OF THE NANNY

There’s already an Instagram archiving every outfit on Sex and the City, and now this account celebrates the fashion choices of Fran Fine, Fran Drescher‘s fabulously sassy character from The Nanny. How to phrase this politely? Fran’s style was rarely subtle, but there’s no denying she really rocked those leopard-print tops, bodycon dresses and patterned skirt-suits. In short, @whatfranwore is bold and brazen ’90s fashion heaven.

5. WHAT TO WATCH WHETHER YOU’RE A BUSINESS WHIZ OR NOT

The New Celebrity Apprentice
The New Celebrity Apprentice

Can the long-running reality show succeed with a new host? Taking over from Donald Trump will be tough, but Arnold Schwarzenegger surely has enough swagger: He certainly looks like a boss riding a horse in the trailer. The new season also boasts a promising cast of celebrity contestants, with Boy George, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Eric Dickerson and Carson Kressley all competing to win money for charity. The season premiere, which airs tonight (January 2) on NBC, is definitely worth investing your time in.

6. WHAT TO WATCH IF YOU ALWAYS MEANT TO GIVE IT A GO, BUT NEVER QUITE GOT ROUND TO IT

Nashville
Nashville

This primetime soap set in the cutthroat world of country music has always been underrated, so it wasn’t a total surprise when ABC decided to cancel it last year. Thankfully, following a fan-led social media campaign it was picked up by CMT and season five begins Thursday. It’s a shame Connie Britton will only be appearing in 10 of 22 episodes this time around, but new showrunners Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz, whose credits include Thirtysomething and My So-Called Life, won’t let her absence stop them from spinning a good yarn. It’s worth noting that the show’s original country songs are often excellent too.

7. WHAT TO WATCH WITH SOMEONE WHO’S IN TOUCH WITH THEIR EMOTIONAL SIDE

A Monster Calls
A Monster Calls

Adapted from his own novel by Patrick Ness, creator of Doctor Who spin-off series Class, this fantasy film is a sensitive and stirring triumph. Teen actor Lewis MacDougall stars as a boy who’s comforted by a sentient “tree monster” (voiced by Liam Neeson) when his mother is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Sigourney Weaver, Felicity Jones and Black Mirror’s Toby Kebbell complete a fine cast. A Monster Calls hits theaters nationwide this Friday (January 6).

8. WHAT TO ADD TO YOUR PLAYLIST BECAUSE IT’S BOUND TO BE MASSIVE

Major Lazer feat. Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR: 'Ring Her Up'
Major Lazer feat. Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR: “Ring Her Up”

Even if you don’t know electro trio Major Lazer by name, you’ll recognize their huge club hits “Lean On” and “Cold Water.” Their latest track features vocals from a pair of talented rappers: Canadian rising star PARTYNEXTDOOR and the always mighty Ms. Nicki Minaj. “Ring Her Up” doesn’t debut until Friday, but clips that have leaked online suggest it’s another infectious tropical-pop gem.

9. WHAT TO WATCH IF YOU LIKE YOUR COMEDY KINDA OFFBEAT

Portlandia
Portlandia

Since it premiered in 2011, this clever and well-observed sketch show has become a real cult favorite. Playing a mix of one-off and recurring fictional characters, stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein affectionately send up the alternative lifestyles, super-liberal values, and infectious air of weirdness that have come to define Portland, Oregon. Season seven, which features guest appearances from The B-52s, Laurie Metcalf and Kyle MacLachlan, debuts Thursday (December 5) on IFC.

10. AND FINALLY, WHO TO FOLLOW ON INSTAGRAM BECAUSE SHE JUST MADE A BOSS START TO 2017

@victoriabeckham

Most people wrote off this former Spice Girl when her solo recording career flopped, but she’s since reinvented herself as a genuinely credible fashion designer. Indeed, Queen Elizabeth II has just recognized Beckham’s business success and admirable charity work by making her an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the U.K.’s New Year Honors list. Now is the perfect time to check out VB’s Instagram, which offers glimpses into her growing fashion empire and busy home life with husband David and their four kids.

Happy new year — let’s start 2017 off right!
