Very few stations in America show positive aspects of the tribes. The networks do show the alcoholics and druggies of the tribes reinforcing their stereotypes. I remember getting interviewed by a journalist that said my life was boring because I didn’t have a drug or alcohol problem. Students abroad are taught about the tribes in a positive manner but not so in America. The schools in Kenya teach about Wounded Knee I & II. In America? Never!
