		<description><![CDATA[Yes dear, that point has been brought up here many many times   the Mayans didn&#039;t even pierdct the end of their own civilization, so it doesn&#039;t make sense they pierdcted the end of the world.In actuality, the Mayans did not pierdct the end of the world or any such thing.The Mayan long count calendar ends on 12/21/2012.  It&#039;s really no different than your 12 month 2009 calendar ending on 12/31/2009, but people are trying to assign some mystical magical meaning to it other than the obvious, since their civilization died out, their calendar makers were no longer around to begin a new long count calendar picking up where this one ends.]]></description>
