Andi Osho

Andi Osho is a well-known face on British television having appeared on “Mock The Week” (BBC Two), “Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow” (BBC One), “Live At The Apollo” (BBC One), “Nevermind The Buzzcocks” (BBC Two), “Comedy Annual” (ITV 1), “Comedy Rocks” (ITV 1), Channel 4’s “Comedy Gala at the O2 and Stand Up For The Week” (Channel 4). Andi has also been on “Let’s Dance For Comic Relief” (BBC One) dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Bad” and is famously the only person to have won more than one episode of Celebrity Mastermind. Andi is a popular guest on topical radio and television shows having appeared on the likes of “Women’s Hour” (Radio 4), “The Culture Show” (BBC Two) and “This Week” (BBC One). She has proven she has a cheeky, quick wit and natural effervescence. Having previously worked in television production, Andi turned to acting in 2003 before deciding to branch out in to stand-up comedy a few years later. She reached the final of no less than five major new talent competitions in her first year of performing stand-up. Andi now performs across the country at major festivals and comedy clubs and has embarked on tours of her solo shows. Her recent show, “All The Single Ladies,” started at the Edinburgh Festival in 2011 before playing over 30 dates nationwide. In addition to numerous stage roles, including starring as Alma in Dael Orlandersmith’s powerful drama “Yellowman” at Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre, Andi has various television roles to her credit including Lin Colvin in “Casualty,” Adeola Brooker in “Doctors,” Dr Rogers in “Footballers’ Wives: Extra Time” and Angela Parker in “Sea of Souls.” She has also appeared in “Waking the Dead” and “EastEnders.”
