How has no one commented on this?! HILARIOUS!!!

I live in Florida and the first yr I lived here I had guests stay with me in total 26 weeks out of 52. INSANE! Consumed by homesickness when I arrived, I issued an open invitation to anyone, come stay in my apartment, I live by the beach, all you need is the flight! Well, they came. Who wouldn't? I became so tired trying to go out every night plus keep up at my new job, and so broke as I was on a low salary compared to my friends on holiday that I banned all friends the following year. And then I missed them.
Now I have reached a happy medium, where I explain people can stay but I work so I cannot eat out/ go out and party every night. And people don't mind. After all, they really have come to see me. The beach and sunshine is a bonus :)
