Healthy BLT

In this healthy BLT sandwich, almonds replace the bacon flavor, while adding a healthy crunch!


Toasted whole wheat or multigrain bread
Small amount of light mayo
Toasted sliced almonds


Toast almonds on baking sheet in oven or toaster oven at 200 degrees until golden (almonds toast quickly). Toast whole wheat or multigrain bread, and spread the mayo on toast. Sprinkle almonds on mayo then add lettuce and tomato.
