When a homeless man is found beaten nearly to death with an iron bar in the park at the center of a well-kept square, Ronnie and Matt investigate. Everyone in the square has a motive but no one is talking. Are they are protecting the perpetrator? If they are found not guilty, the jury will have condoned vigilantism in all its brutal lawlessness and this goes against everything James believes in.
Peter Davison, well-known for his role as the Fifth Doctor on ‘Doctor Who’ (1982-1984), plays Crown Prosecutor Service Director Henry Sharpe, taking over the post from George Castle at the beginning of Season 3.
