Craig Owens is an ordinary man who just happened have shared his house with the most extraordinary man in the universe, the Doctor.
As is the case with many of the people the Doctor encounters, he is able to uncover unseen attributes in Craig. During their adventures together, Craig demonstrates an uncommon bravery and a heart of gold. He also reveals his love for his friend, Sophie, and they’re now an item. They’ve even got a baby boy named Alfie and a new home which the Doctor visits in at least one occasion.
Craig works in an office, loves playing football and enjoys sharing pizzas with Sophie.

Gangers were developed to work in environments too dangerous for people. Controlled remotely by a human operator they soon saved lives and money and most believed a Ganger was simply a tool, little more than a fork-lift truck.
