    how about, Just like on the show Mash, some of the repeat characters that you see every week have a chance to engage in conversation with main characters to make it more believable, I don’t know anyone that I would have passed by and not said a resounding Hello, or hi Copper, something. Or when he is asking questions in the crowd to have different people answer back and not just nod their heads like a bobble head doll.

    The prostitute that Corky was bangin’ during the war (you know he was) comes to NY to work for Eva. Francis’ mother comes to NY to care for him after the fire and finds out all he has done. And I am not serious on this one but—-Abe Lincoln is really searching for vampires in NY, and JWB is afraid of being found out.

Annie learns to become a child and enjoys it. The Freeman’s have their child but she is unable to care for it due to post partum depression. And Eva’s guilt over Molly causes her to confess.

Seems like O’Brien is the only one who doesn’t visit Eva’s establishment for anything other than drinks — more on O’Brien and his wife’s relationship, also, please. Continue with Corky and Robert’s relationship…. Love all the unexpected twists and turns. Elizabeth…interested in learning more about her because of her comment in the Season One finale about being poor…as if she really was poor growing up and can understand the hardships related to that. Annie…great young actress — wonder how she would do interacting with kids her own age. Thanks for a great show!

    Yes! More murder mysteries solved. Good fun! Perhaps Civil War soldiers that Corky knows ditch the South and come to work for him in NYC but cause lots of problems. Elizabeth’s actions become more and more vile until she is eventually found out. And Eva’s actions become more and more angelic, but not one knows. Ellen is boring…she needs to get more spunky – I know she killed her own daughter and was all drugged up…ugh. But Kevin Corcoran is always dreamy :] I adore this show. Thank you sooooooo much for creating it <3

    i want Eva hanged for killing Molly (i liked Molly). i want Corky’s wife to hang for killing their daughter. i want Norbert Morehouse to work his way back home and into his son’s life again- doing WHATEVER he has to to get there. i want Robert to give his father pure hell on a daily basis when he comes back. i want the ‘relationship’ between Kennedy and Elizabeth Haverford brought to light and in turn, she be thrown into a dank jail cell. i want Elizabeth to also openly confess she is simply a whore in fancy clothing. i want Annie to stop being so conniving and reclaim some of her lost childhood. i want Francis and Corky’s relationship too forever be strained – but i want Francis to remain an active Copper. i want to see Corky have an occasional sunbeam shine through that dark and dismal Five Points sky and light him up because having to deal with everybody else’s s/h/i/t on top of your own STINKS and drags you down no matter what century you live in.
    mostly though, i want Doctor Matthew Freeman to remain as fine as he wanna be. he makes my heart quicken and me smile like a teenage girl laying eyes on her crush every time he is on screen. tall, dark, intelligent, owns his own home, has his own thriving business, good husband and father material and will knuckle somebody up over his girl — even when she is in the wrong. Sarah, girl…woman-to-woman…if this was 1864, i would be after your man hot -n- heavy, BIG TIME! HA!

      totally agree with your sara opinion. It’s hard to believe a man like Freeman could fall in love with someone so weak. I know she has suffered trauma but so has everyone. It would be nice if they showed some evidence of her trying to pull herself together and be a partner with her intelligent, strong and ambitious husband.

    Definitely see Annie change into a more proper young lady, and help heal Ellen. Francis makes it through surgery no problem, and finds a new proper love! Elizabeth is going to get pregnant, and decide to not marry Morehouse. O’Brien stays in New York, and the detectives find out that Elizabeth was aiding and abetting the Confederates!!

Lincoln is assassinated and Corky discovers that Morehouse may be involved.Elizabeth, in an attempt to redeem herself, tells that she was involved and Morehouse was innocent. Elizabeth is killed.Doctor Freemen will become a great leader and speaker for his people. Anne grows up and starts her own business with the help of Eva.     I would like so see more Civil War stories that tie in with our heroes and maybe a Lincoln cameo. Corky deserves some happiness after all the betrayal he has been put through. Annie needs to regain some foothold in childhood or I fear she may be lost. Actress who plays her is fantastic. One of the best shows I have enjoyed in a long time.     Corky does not become a drug addict and is involved in the rescue of Lincoln from the kidnapping attempt that was made on him before he was assassinated. Elizabeth is outed by Morehouse who has suspected she wasn’t straight all along. Ellen should either recover or go away.

    I would like to see Corky adopt Annie and to help her to obtain the childhood she never had. It’s good to balance the thriller side of the series with home drama. Annie is a refreshing change
    to the cruel, brutal, and morally corrupt world into which she is born. Annie was and is like so many young children today, forced into a horrific
    sexual slavery. Corky who rescues her from that nightmare, is really the father she never had. She is a child who grew up in
    a perverted world. Annie’s attempts to become Corky’s wife is the only way she knows how to show love for Corky, her true father. If there is a just God in this universe, the men who do this to children will rot
    eternally in the lowest level of Hell.

    I’d like to see more historical connections like the one with John Wilkes Booth from this season. Also some Civil War battle flashbacks with Corky, Freeman, and Morehouse would shed more light on their relationships.

    Annies creepiness is getting old. She lives with Corkys wife after they divorce because Elizabeth turns out is pregnant with Corkys child and she finds out about Eva…pot calling the kettle black. Corky agrees because he can’t get over the death of his daughter…Wife and Annie fade out as characters. Francis and Corky continue to work together …you just can’t get rid of Francis! Francis hooks up with a female painter who is being investigated for murder…only she uses a male name to sell paintings so she was mistakenly accused of murder…don’t ask how I thought that one up! She’s independent because she can pay her own bills and not a whore but can do as she pleases!Throw in some of the famous Irish political figures of that era . The Booth’s are here for a reason, Elizabeth is involved in the assassination plot and is tried for being a spy! Background / flashbacks of Corky and Moorehouse during the war…Eva gets found out by some of her employees as to being Mollys killer and then it spirals out of control from there! New Characters! We need a female who is true, but tough and smart, and doesn’t have some scheming nastiness. Preferably on her own who enters into the group with no attachments to anyone yet.

    I’d like to see Corky involved in more real detective work. Why not turn the resourceful Annie into his protege? She could be issued a copper badge and a smart Derringer to go with it. She’s clever and unscrupulous and can navigate high society or the lowest dives with equal ease, a perfect partner for the rough-around-the-edges Detective Corcoran in a morally ambiguous universe.

Let’s have Elizabeth Haverford enter into to business deal with Eva Heissen and find Annie something to keep her busy while Kevin is busy brooding

    Forgiveness and little flirtation and romance reignighting between Corky and Elizabeth which would lead to Corky putting Annie back in Elizabeth’s custody. I’d like to see Annie realize her danger in trying seduce men at her age and take advantage of Elizabeth’s teachings of how to become a proper lady while still escaping to Eva’s to stay in touch with Eva and the woman she believes knows Corky the best and in doing so reporting to both Elizabeth and Eva his comings and goings between the two women.

    I would like to see Corky to find a good woman that isnt a psycho murderer (Eva), rich liar (Elizabeth), or a screwed up wife. It would be nice if Corky finally got with a good woman that he truly deserves. Also I would love to see an episode that would show a flashback of the events before Corky went to war and when he was in war. There is so much about Corky that we as fans dont really know so it where was an episode that would show more of Corkys life before the show began.

    Corky takes Annie to be raised by nuns who declare her demonspawn and exorcise her regularly. Morehouse finds out Elizabeth is a Southern sympathizer and heartbroken, trades his muttonchops in for lambchops, He develops a portly figure and starts losing his hair. Corky switches from morphine to lollypops and divorces Ellen, who is subsequently rejected by Maguire. Eva takes up with O’Brien. He is put in a delicate position when she is charged with multiple murders and threatens to tell his wife of his unusual tastes.Corky spends a lot of time in bed with someone, but we’re not sure who until the end of the season.

    This is such a good show. Can’t wait for the new season. Too bad it has to take so long to come one. Would like to know more about Corky’s past. His war background, his friendship with Morehouse and Freeman came about. The circumstances of how Dr. Freeman came north and how he met Sara. Tie Robert’s father in the story every now and then, to see how he is coping with starting all over. The girl that plays Annie is so good. I would think that would be a hard part to play. See Annie learn how to be a proper little girl. Put her in some hard core therapy. LOL. Don’t turn Corky into a drug addict. Let Cochran reject Ellen totally. Then have Eva take Ellen under her wing and turn her into a prostitute.

    Corky is a broken man at the end of season 1, I would like to see him realize all is not his fault and get back to the more confident bad-ass he was at the beginning. I would like to see Morehouse hook up with Eva, she is looking for a business partner. Annie needs to go away and take Ellen with her. I hope all is well with Sara’s baby, she deserves some happiness. I would like to see Matthew become more a part of the crime solving with Corky. Elizabeth will be tried for treason and hanged. Francis will have died in surgery at the end of seaon 1. Let’s bring in some new characters for season 2. Most of all I just can’t wait for more COPPER!!!!!
