Casting Announcement: Season Two Guest Stars Revealed

Big casting news from Five Points. Last month we revealed Sons of Anarchy star Donal Logue would be joining the cast of Copper – now we’re thrilled to announce Lee Tergesen and Eamonn Walker have signed on as guest stars in the upcoming season!

Fans of Tom Fontana’s HBO drama Oz will recognize Copper‘s newest names – Oz featured Tergesen as Tobias Beecher and Eamonn Walker as Kareem Said. For their Copper roles, Tergesen will guest star as Philomen Keating, an intelligent criminal mastermind in vice-laden 1865 New York City, and Walker will take on the role of legendary abolitionist leader Frederick Douglass.

Production for Copper Season Two is currently underway, and the series is slated to return to BBC America this summer.

Excited about the mini-reunion between two former Oz castmates? Sound off about Copper‘s newest additions in the comments below!

Do please rewrite and incorporate this into a future episode, GRATIS:

Scene: Front door of the Haverford mansion.
(Corcoran knocks on the door; it opens.)

    The butler: Yes?

Corcoran: I’m here to talk to Mrs. Haverford – official police business.

The butler: Do come in and wait in the parlor while I announce you.

(Corcoran enters, and sits down. He notices Annie lounging on the couch opposite, her hand clenched, its thumb against her mouth.)

Corcoran: Hello, Annie. What’s that you’re doing? Sucking your
    (Mrs. Haverford enters.)

Mrs. Haverford: …No, she isn’t. Annie was such an angel this week
that to reward her, I took her to Mr. Davies, the chemist on Madison
Square, who just added a sweets counter to his premises. Did you
know that this poor child had never before tasted anything they sell
at a sweets shop? I let her select her heart’s desire. She chose a
new confection sold there they call a… Lollipop… or a… oh, I forget

(Annie pulls the lollipop out of her mouth.)

    Annie: …an All-Day-Sucker. I think an All-Day-Sucker may ALMOST
be my favorite thing in the world now.

(She looks Corcoran straight in the eye, less than innocently.)

Annie: I think you’d also be pleasured by an All-Day-Sucker, Corky…

(She plunges the lollipop back into her mouth.)

    Mrs. Haverford: Annie!

(Corcoran blinks and averts his gaze.)

I once wrote a song celebrating Annie and (Eva’s) Paradise Square. Watch La Chorale Garnier – call it The Winnie Choir – perform it here:
