Between Paolo being taken away in an ambulance, Lucy ending up in hospital in pain and Roger ending up dead at Earls Park stadium, it wasn't exactly the night we'd planned.
Lucy came round the next morning to find out about Paolo when the phone rang with news about Roger. Poor Jackie. Shannon blames herself for what happened to Paolo, but like I told her, Cal was just the trigger. It would've happened at some point. Mind you, when you think about Jackie, our blokes may be flawed but at least they're breathing.
Bruno seems to have turned over a new leaf. Lucy had another scare with the baby and Bruno was right there. He's offered to look after them - at least until the baby is born. She doesn't have to love him - he just wants to take care of them.
Roger's funeral was pretty horrendous. Everyone was there - including creep Garry Ryan. He's such a leach. Jackie thinks he's dangerous and completely untrustworthy - I couldn't have put it better myself.
That night after the funeral, the paper had a back page story about the curse of Earls Park. I was just about to go to bed when Garry turned up - this time with a bottle of champagne. Trying to tell me how worried he is about me now Paolo is not well and truly out of the picture. He offered for us to form an alliance. I soon put him straight and told him, there is no way I'd go with such a lardy old has been. I'm through shagging old men for pocket money. I kicked him out.
Started house hunting. Lucy thinks it's all too soon, but there's no way I'm going to be Paolo's nurse maid. I didn't see how sick he was and even if he did get better I've still got the image of him screaming in my head. It's not exactly a turn on. Garry got two things right last night. Paolo is not about to make a full recovery and this is his house - the lease is in his name. The sooner I get my own place the better - at least that way I can think about starting again - again.
Just when I thought things couldn't get much worse, I went to see my lawyer who told me that my last late husband's estate had been frozen pending an investigation for fraud. In other words I have no money apart from my shares in Earls Park. I had no idea the fat bastard was a crim, but I'm the one being penalised.
Went to see Garry Ryan to see if he could wave the pre-emption rights needed for me to sell my shares. Ended up lying through my teeth. We came to an agreement where by he gave me market price for my shares and an opportunity to double my money overnight if I would do some serious sucking up to him. The thought of it turns my stomach but I did what I had to do.
Back home, watching the telly I saw the news - the company he recommended to me had crashed - BASTARD.
That night I had the most awful nightmares - Paolo, Jason, Conrad, Frank, Amber - they were all there. Woke up screaming - it was awful. Had vodka for breakfast.

could anybody tell me if this show will at least be back on for 2008? i totaly got my friends and few family addicted to it back home and our favourite in Antigua(West Indies,Caribbean). still waiting patiently!!!
Is Footballers Wives coming back? I am confused, I was waiting for the new season, but the way it sounds here it's over. Please Please Please bring it back!!!!

Hi layla here,Im so mad that the show has ended,what a cliffhanger,please bring back that baddest girl (TANYA)on television,I haven't found any other show that remotely comes to Footballers Wive$,since , PLEASE BRING THEM BACK,I also want to know what happend with Cash and Yasmine, all I remember that she found out that Cash had killed her love and I also remember that Cash attacked Yas and she was unconscience,laying on the floor PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

I am so hooked on this show, please do not lrt it end. I have my husband watching it also.and now most of my friends.This show has become my favorite.I even watch the reruns. I just can not get enough. This is a very sad day for me. Denise Uniontown Pa.
I cant believe that it is over,there was so much more to explore,I am restless trying to find a show that matches this including German tv shows
I ,too , can't believe it's over! Please continue the series-I'm hooked- Tanya would not be that naive-I'm sure that she switched lines so that Gary would snort rat poison-but FW Overtime wrote a different ending. Let's hope they will continue Tanya's saga -alive and on TOP- where she belongs!
I can't believe BBC has taken this great show off. I am so hooked on this show. Please bring it back
