Of the original fourteen candidates, only five are left in the struggle to become Sir Alan Sugar's apprentice. This week's task is presenting a TV show. But it's a business task - so that means it's on a television shopping channel and involves selling products "live" on-air. The candidates are free to choose what they sell, and there's a huge range to choose from. But they don't know which products sell the most and which ones genuinely require years of experience to shift. There's barely time to rehearse and then an excruciating hour, live on-screen, in which to talk non-stop and sell. And what they don't know is that Sir Alan is watching them from the comfort of his own home. The show must go on, so there's laughter and tears - and, as usual, someone gets fired.
