Antiques Roadshow UK, the basis from which the U.S. version was created and one of the UK’s longest running shows, is part adventure, part history lesson, and part treasure hunt. It showcases some of the most valuable and sometimes not-so-valuable treasures hidden in the back of closets, tucked away in attics and even buried under the beds of local residents. Presenter Fiona Bruce, keeps the tradition going of examining and commenting on the priceless treasures along with the Roadshow experts.

Antiques Roadshow UK is filmed in various locations inviting people by the thousands into estates, cathedrals and other historical sites to present their personal treasures to the Roadshow experts including a sword that fought in the English Civil War, original designs for the tomb of the Unknown soldier, rare paintings and a unique recording of a Beatles recording session.
