| | Guests: Minnie Driver; comedian Jimmy Carr
On this episode of The Graham Norton Show, Minnie Driver stops by to talk about her privacy, her pregnancy, and the pressure to lose weight after having a baby. Comedian Jimmy Carr is also a guest on the show.
Speaking about her remarkably un-Hollywood lifestyle, Minnie says, "I've been out with more civilians than dodgy actors, I'm friends with most of my exes. I live in a quiet part of LA, I wear knickers, I don't roll out of clubs at four in the morning..."
About her pregnancy, she says, "I was dreadfully sick to begin with...I have revulsions: raisins and eggs." She says she'll give birth in a tank of water: "I think it's where I'll be most comfortable, at home, I'm not scared of pain." She also admits there is pressure to lose post-baby weight. "I think they [celebrities] get their tummies tucked at the same time as elective caesareans... After five days they're a size eight again, it's ridiculous."
Minnie is also the evening's musical guest, performing live in the studio.
