With AMBUH from Footballers Wive$, y'all! Good to see Primeval bringing in some ethnic diversity - especially the hotness that is Laila Rouass.

Here's where the new season starts, storywise:
At the start of the new season, Nick Cutter (Douglas Henshall) is still reeling from Stephen's death and the extent of his wife Helen's (Juliet Aubrey) betrayal. As he fights to re-focus his embattled team, the anomalies continue to present an unrelenting series of threats. If the team thought the Mammoth was a tough nemesis, then the Giganotosaurus is truly epic. Bigger and badder than a T-Rex, the dino-hunters are faced with the one predator they fear the most.
As deadlier creatures from the past and future continue to rampage through the anomalies, the cloak of secrecy behind which the team has been working is in jeopardy. Questions are being asked and the conspiracy spreads its net wide. If something is not done quickly, the team's future is threatened - not to mention the future of humankind itself.
And there are photos...Andrew-Lee Potts is looking a little spicy there in his stripey scarf, waving around his weapon. And Jason Flemyng, Brad Pitt's dad in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, has also joined the cast:

Please someone confirm Primeval will return for another season!!! My Cable info on the final show indicated it was Series Finale, rather than Season Finale. Please say it isn't so!!! And bring back Cutter and Claudia!!

What is with bbca?Dropping Ashes for Primeval?? Primeval is just ok while Ashes was getting better & better. Dumb move .

I'm glad to see Primeval returning, too bad it is at the expense of the second season of Ashes to Ashes. Wonder if we'll ever get the opportunity to see it on BBCA in the future. Or has it gone the way of the final season of Bodies, which BBCA put on the schedule a number of times, but kept pulling and never aired.
