  • Doctor Who honcho Steven Moffat might seek an older actor when looking for David Tennant's replacement. "Although I loved Peter Davison and Paul McGann, probably the best two actors in the role, I don't think young, dashing Doctors are right at all. He should be 40-plus and weird-looking - the kind of wacky grandfather kids know on sight to be secretly one of them." Didn't you hear Boston Legal is in its final season? William Shatner will soon be available! (The Sun)

  • Daniel Craig makes up for his vulgar lack of nakedness in Quantum of Solace by stripping off for another movie. The Sun has a photo.

  • Rowan Atkinson admits the Mr. Bean movies were terrible: "My problem is that, although the films have undoubtedly been commercially successful...an awful lot of what we have done has not been good film-making. I find it frustrating that, apart from Four Weddings and a Funeral, I have yet to be involved in a film of which I am totally proud." (The Times)

  • Liam and Noel Gallagher are reportedly rowing again. And I thought Noel getting drop-kicked on a Toronto stage would bring them together. (Daily Record)

  • Dannii Minogue could lose her X Factor gig for being utterly useless: "Dannii was brought in initially to be the younger counterpart to Sharon [Osbourne], but since Cheryl Cole arrived, she has replaced Dannii in that role and become much more popular." (Mirror)

  • Being Human, the wonderful British supernatural drama, will return as a full series, but it will have two of its leads recast. Thankfully, Russell Tovey will reprise his role as George the werewolf. (The Stage)

Please do not replace David Tennant. He is the best Dr. Who. My husband and I watch the show all the time. We also think the girl who plays Martha is the best side kick with Dr. Who. David is funny and entertaining and does a great job. We enjoyed him on the Graham Norton show as well. So don't replace him, please.

I just read that Stephen Moffat's quote was from 9 years ago before the revived new series which could have changed his mind on Doctor Who casting. Just something to keep in mind before you place a bet on James Nesbitt...
