Since Patsy burnt down Edina's kitchen, progress on redesigning the interior has been slow. Edina, unwisely accompanied by Patsy, sets out to find the perfect door handle.
It's New Year's Eve in the Monsoon mansion. Edina and Patsy are planning to go to the most fabulous club on the planet, when news comes of the imminent arrival of Patsy's long-lost sister, Jackie, a woman with a reputation even worse than Patsy's own.
Edina has palpitations when she decides that her bedroom isn't big enough. Saffy works away on a lecture on genetics and ethics. Patsy persuades Edina to hold an orgy. However, when the night arrives, Edina finds her desire lacking, so Patsy prescribes a line of coke and a suitably raunchy video.
PR-land quakes with anticipation as the time for dishing out awards approaches. Edina, having paid for them, naturally expects to win her fair share, but archrival Claudia Bing has other ideas. Meanwhile, Saffy gets some extra special education from her psychology lecturer. Supermodel Naomi Campbell puts in an appearance as herself, but where is Lulu when you need her?
Patsy moves in to live with Edina when Saffy moves out. However, it proves to be a turbulent arrangement, especially when they can't find the can opener. Further trouble erupts when Lulu arrives at Edina's office to terminate her contract and sign with a high-powered American agency.
Edina has gone to a retreat to find herself. Saffy has moved out, and Patsy has gone to work for a magazine in New York. With Mother left alone in the house, will life ever be the same again?
